Aaron Eckhart is to star in 'Incarnate'.
The 'Olympus Has Fallen' actor - known for playing President Benjamin Asher - is onboard the upcoming micro budget horror movie, which is directed by Brad Peyton, but it is not yet known what character he'll adopt, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The story follows an unconventional exorcist who can tap into the mind of the possessed, but meets his match when a nine-year-old boy is taken over by a demon from his past.
The script was penned by Ronnie Christensen and the movie will be co-financed and produced by Blumhouse, while Blumhouse International will oversee the foreign sales.
Couper Samuelson, Stuart Ford, Charles Layton, Michael Seitzman, Trevor Engelson and Peyton will executive produce.
Filming is expected to kick off in November in Los Angeles.
Eckhart will next be seen in 20th Century Fox's 'I, Frankenstein', which follows eccentric scientist Victor Frankenstein, who creates a monstrous creature - named Fitz - in an unconventional scientific experiment, but after he rejects the artificial man he's just produced, the unnatural being escapes and seeks revenge.
