This weekend we celebrate and remember VE day of 1945 when war across Europe came to an end - and we have A Royal Night Our clip to share with you.
A Royal Night Our is based on true events and follows princesses Elizabeth and Margaret as they left Buckingham Palace to celebrate with the people of London.
Sarah Gadon and Bel Powley will take on the central roles of Elizabeth and Margaret, while Julian Jarrold will return to the director's chair.
A brand new clip has been released from the movie and we have it to whet your appetite:
Jarrold has brought us movies such as Kinky Boots and Becoming Jane during his career but he has been focusing on TV projects in the last couple of years with Appropriate Adult and The Great Train Robbery under his belt.
Gadon and Powley are not the only cast members to watch out for as Emily Watson, Rupert Everett, Jack Reynor, and Roger Allam make up a very exciting and talented cast list.
VE Day, 1945. Across Europe, people are celebrating the end of the war. London overflows with celebration and excess. Two teenage princesses are allowed out that night to join the party. For the first time they are able to mingle with the teeming crowds, incognito.
Our two teenagers are Margaret (Powley) and the future Queen of England, Elizabeth (Gadon). Home is Buckingham Palace. Inspired by true events, A Royal Night Out is a heart-warming and riotous tale of the Queen witnessing the energy and spirit on this unique night.
