The festive season is almost upon us and there are a whole host of Christmas movies on the horizon... one not to miss comes in the form of A Christmas Star.
A Christmas Star won't be hitting the big screen until the middle of November and will mark the feature film directorial debut for Richard Elson.
Elson is no stranger to the director's chair with shorts such as Hunted, Reflections, and Guilt - as well as TV series M.I. High - under his belt. It is exciting to see him make the leap into features for the first time.
The brand new trailer for A Christmas Star has arrived and we have it for you to take a look at:
A Christmas Star is set to introduce us to the acting talents of Erin Galway-Kendrick, who takes on the central role of Noelle; this will be the first film role of her acting career.
A great cast has been assembled around Erin as Pierce Brosnan, Liam Neeson, Rob James-Collier, Suranne Jones, Richard Clements, and Bronagh Waugh are all also on board.
Born in dramatic circumstances under the Christmas Star, Noel believes she has the gift to perform strange miracles. When conniving developer McKerrod threatens her peaceful life she teams up with a misfit gang of local kids to save the village from demolition.
However, one by one her friends lose faith in Noelle's abilities and she is left to fight McKerrod on her own. The town's future hinges on a final showdown in Belfast's historic Stormont building as Noelle implores politicians, her friends and the watching world to believe in the true meaning of Christmas... love.
A Christmas Star is released 13th November and on DVD & Blu-Ray on 23rd November.
