Zooey Deschanel has revealed that the chemistry on My Idiot Brother just happened.
The actress stars alongside Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks and Emily Mortimer in the Jesse Peretz directed movie.
Speaking to Ain't It Cool the actress said: "I felt like it was really well cast.
"Like, I felt like [the cast] all looked like brothers and sisters, you know what I mean? It was cool, like, all of us brunettes with light eyes.
"The chemistry just happened."
Deschanel has taken on work on shorts as well as TV show Bones since starring in 500 Days of Summer back in 2009 but she is back later this year with comedy Your Highness.
The movie sees her team up with James Franco, Natalie Portman and Danny McBride as she takes on the role of kidnapped Belladonna.
