Kathryn Bigelow's new movie Zero Dark Thirty has come under fire from the director of the CIA.
The movie follows the search for Osama Bin Laden but there has been some controversy surrounding torture scenes that feature in the movie.
And Michael Morell has hit out at the film saying that the director had taken artistic license with the telling of the story and that some aspects of the tale were incorrect.
In a public letter to CIA personnel, Morell wrote: "The film creates the strong impression that the enhanced interrogation techniques that were part of our former detention and interrogation programme were the key to finding Bin Laden. That impression is false."
"The film takes considerable liberties in its depiction of CIA personnel and their actions, including some who died while serving our country. We cannot allow a Hollywood film to cloud our memory of them."
Zero Dark Thirty has been a huge hit with the critics and has been picking up awards left, right and centre.
The film will battle it out for major gongs at the Golden Globes and is expected to pick up a whole host of Oscar nominations.
Zero Dark Thirty is released 25th January.
