Zach Galifianakis would like The Hangover sequel to be set in Moscow.
Galifianakis is all set to reprise the role of Alan alongside Bradley Cooper, Justin Bartha and Ed Helms as filmmaker Todd Philips is also returning to the project.
The Hangover was one of the unexpected hits of last summer as the movie went on to top the box office, win over the critics, and went on to take over $467 million at the global box office.
And while the original was set in Las Vegas Galifianakis would like to see the sequel set in the Russian capital.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly he said: "I think Russia would be amazing. The first Hangover worked because it was Vegas, but it was the dirty side of Vegas, not the glitzy one.
"You’ve got to put the characters against danger. So they could get involved in organised crime in Moscow, which I think is incredibly scary."
However he revealed that the producers already had several locations in mind "Where it is going to take place is beautiful. They probably will show the dirty part of the beauty. I think that’s the goal."
Galifianakis is back on the big screen this year as he reunites with Philips for a new comedy Due Date, which also stars Oscar nominee and Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr.
