Zac Efron is hooked on time travelling and dreams of taking on Michael J. Fox's role in a new Back To The Future movie.
In his new film 17 Again, Efron's character - played as an adult by Matthew Perry - is struck by lightning and becomes a teenager again.
And now he's keen to take on the the ultimate time travel adventure by recreating Fox's Marty McFly character in a fourth instalment of the hit film franchise.
Efron reveals, "Growing up, my favourite thing to do was to climb into the car and play Back To the Future. I would pretend I was Marty McFly."
Fox last played McFly in 1990's Back to the Future Part III. Efron recently pulled out of revisiting another classic movie, Footloose, a part he was associated with for many months.
The 'Hairspray' actor - who shot to fame in Disney's singing-and-dancing extravaganza 'High School Musical' - reportedly decided against taking on the lead role in the remake because he feared being typecast as a musical star.
Gosspi Girl's Chace Crawford has since been linked with the role.
