John C. Reilly has called Wreck It Ralph a dream job and a movie that he is really proud of.
The actor voices the central character of Ralph in the latest Disney movie that is currently top of the U.S. box office.
And Reilly admits that he took his time finding the right animated project and it is something that he has put a lot of heart into.
Speaking to the Press Association the actor said: "It turned into this dream job. I'm really glad that I took my time trying to find the right animated thing to do first because this turned into something I can be really proud of, and that I put a lot of heart into, you know?"
"If you're going to have an avatar or something like that follow you for the rest of your life, it might as well be something that you really feel like you put a lot of heart into. That it's not just a toy. It's a project that you really believe in."
Wreck it Ralph stormed the U.S. box office this week as it comfortably saw off the competition from Flight and Argo.
Reilly has continued to mix movies with TV this year as he reprised the role of Dr Brule in Check It Out! with Dr Steve Brule.
Wreck It Ralph is released in the UK 15th February.
