Woody Harrelson believes that he won't win the Best Supporting Actor Oscar next month.
The actor has been nominated for his role in war movie The Messenger. The movie follows an American soldier who struggles with an ethical dilemma when he becomes involved with a widow of a fallen officer.
Speaking to the press at the Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon he said: "Well I suppose there would be jitters if I thought I was going to win, but I'm certain that I won't.
The actor suggested that it would be pre-award favourite Christop Waltz that will walk away with the gong after dominating the award season over the past few weeks.
"Someone is going to have an accent when they accept but it's not going to be a southern accent.
"So I'm just treating it in the way I should, which is like a big party. That's the way I'm looking at it."
This is Harrelson's second nomination after bagging a Best Actor in a Leading Role nod back in 1997 for his role in The People vs. Larry Flynt.
The Academy Award winners will be announced 7th March.
