Hugh Jackman has revealed that the X-Men Origins: Wolverine will shoot in Japan.
The sequel was announced back in May after the success of the first movie and it has now been confirmed that the movie will focus on the Marvel Comic story that sees Logan training in Eastern fighting skills.
In an interview with MTV Hugh Jackman said: "Japan is where we're heading, [and] we're starting to work on it now. We're in the ... first steps of developing that story."
"I think the fans love that saga. It's my favourite saga of the Wolverine stories. That's a movie I've longed to make from the beginning, so that's where we're heading."
X-Men Origins: Wolverine was released back in May and was a big box office hit. It kicked off the blockbuster summer and has so far grossed over $363 million at the global box office.
The movie was the first spin off from the successful X-Men franchise that had spawned three very successful movies, movies that shot Hugh Jackman to fame.
There is rumoured to be a Magneto movie in the pipeline as well as a First Class movie which looks at the young Cyclops, Jean, Beast and Storm.
