The man accused of uploading an unfinished copy of X-Men Origins: Wolverine onto the internet before its official release has pleaded guilty to a charge of felony copyright infringement.
Gilberto Sanchez, a glass installer and musician based in New York, posted a print of the superhero movie - starring Hugh Jackman - online back in 2009, four weeks before the film hit cinemas.
He was arrested by agents at America's Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and has now admitted he illegally uploaded the film after buying it from a street vendor in the Big Apple.
Sanchez, 48, pleaded guilty in federal court and will be sentenced on 19 September (11). He faces up to three years in jail and a $250,000 (£156,250) fine.
