Winona Ryder pulled off her role as a prima ballerina in Black Swan without a dance background.

The actress stars alongside Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis in Darren Aronofsky's new movie but admits that the role was a difficult one.
Speaking to MSN Movies at the Toronto Film Festival she said: "I haven't had any experience. I've been to the ballet, I saw The Nut Cracker when I was small but that's it!"
"We did a photoshoot before I started filming to be on posters when Natalie walks by and even that was so hard to keep those positions."
And while Ryder has taken on major roles and lots of success during her career she revealed that she is not competitive when it comes to landing film parts.
"I've been asked about ambition before and I don't feel that ambitious because I started so young and it was very fun.
"Both Natalie and I started so young and we didn't really have to go and pound the pavement that much, we don't have that innate ambition of people that start later in their careers", she said.
As well as Black Swan the actress has also completed work on The Dilemma in which she stars alongside Channing Tatum, Jennifer Connelly and Vince Vaughn.
