Steven Spielberg's War Horse is the early favourite to scoop Best Picture at the Oscars next year - despite them being months away.
War Horse is a big screen adaptation of the Michael Morpurgo novel of the same name that was published back in 1982 - it went on to be adapted for the stage in 2007.
Lee Hall and Richard Curtis have come together to pen the screenplay and Spielberg, as you may imagine, has assembled a great cast.
David Thewlis, Benedict Cumberbatch, Emily Watson, Jeremy Irvine and Tom Hiddlestone are all set to star.
Set against a sweeping canvas of rural England and Europe during the First World War the movies follows a young man named Albert and his horse, Joey, and how their bond is broken when Joey is sold to the cavalry and sent to the trenches of World War One.
Despite being too young to enlist, Albert heads to France to save his friend.
