Vin Diesel is returning to work on his latest film in The Chronicles Of Riddick franchise after the production shut down last month (Oct11) due to financial issues.
Shooting on the forthcoming movie in the sci-fi series, which last hit the big screen in 2004, ground to a halt in Montreal, Canada over cashflow problems.
However, the issues - reported to be non-payment for studio space - have now been resolved and filming is set to re-start on 28 December (11), according to TMZ.com.
Diesel first played the role of Riddick back in 2000 in Pitch Black, one of his early breakthrough roles.
The new movie sees him team up with filmmaker David Twohy for the third time, Twohy has also worked on the screenplay.
We haven't seen Diesel on the big screen since the success of Fast and Furious 5 back in the summer.
A sixth movie in the franchise is believe to be in the pipeline.
