Vanessa Paradis admits that she is nothing like her character in her new movie Heartbreaker.
Paradis is back on the big screen this week as she teams up with Romain Duris in the Pascal Chaumeil romantic comedy Heartbreaker.
When asked is she had anything in common with her character Juliette she said: "I hope not. She spends most of the movie on a tight rein, holding back her own nature, and I have a hard time doing this.
"I hope I'm less stiff than that, but I do have a reasonable side."
It's the first movie sine The Key back in 2007 for the actress and she reveals that juggling motherhood, she has two young children, and a career can be difficult.
"It's difficult when you want it all. I love what I do. What's difficult is when it is all at once. But in this work, opportunities come your way, and you never know if they'll come again. It's all about making compromises."
But the actress has plenty of work in the pipeline with A Monster in Paris, to which she lends her voice, is already in post production while she is yet to film Cafe de Flore.
