Twilight was the one and only movie at the Teen Choice Awards this weekend as it picked up eleven gongs.
The movie picked up the movie drama romance with Kristen Stewart won in the actress category while Brit Robert Pattinson took home two awards for actor as well as male hottie.
There were also awards for other members of the cast as Taylor Lautner and Ashley Green won the male and female fresh faces awards while Cam Gigandet took home the prize for movie villain.
Released last year the movie shot it's unknown cast to stardom as well as grossing an impressive $383.5 million at the global box office.
Twilight is the first in a four book saga with New Moon hitting big screen in November with all of the cast returning to their roles.
Although filmmaker Catherine Hardwicke joined her young cast on stage at the awards to celebrate their success she will not be returning to the franchise this autumn.
After the success of the first movie Paramount Pictures and Summit film were keen to get the other movies onto the big screen and Hardwicke didn't agree with the quick turn around that the studio wanted, they only shot the film this spring.
She left the project because she wanted spend more time on New Moon before it was released. She has been replaced by Chris Weitz who directed The Golden Compass.
New Moon is released 20th November.
