N-Dubz and X-Factor’s very own Tulisa Contostavlos is set to star in the gritty Britcom Big Fat Gypsy Gangster, alongside Omid Djalili, Peter Capaldi and Ricky Grover.
Tulisa plays girl-band member Shanikwa, whose fellow band-mate, Jodie, is played by Rochelle of The Saturdays.
In one scene, the pair become involved in a hilarious catty sing-off in their local boozer.
Big Fat Gypsy Gangster is based on East End geezer and Britain's hardest man Bulla, the much-loved, alter-ego of comedian Ricky Grover (currently starring in EastEnders).
Snatch meets This Is Spinal Tap as Bulla, the titular Big Fat Gypsy Gangster who's fresh out of the can and back on the London streets, takes the audience on a roller coaster ride of violence, madness and mayhem.
Featuring the formidable comedic acting talents of Ricky Grover, Omid Djalili, Peter Capaldi, Rufus Hound and Steven Berkoff and with a debut film role for N-Dubz and X-Factor’s Tulisa, Big Fat Gypsy Gangster is a heavyweight British gangster movie that ruthlessly assaults the funny bone.
Big Fat Gypsy Gangster premieres on September 14.
