Last summer it looked like Michael Bay was finished with the Transformers franchise but twelve months on it looks like he will be back in the director's chair for the fourth instalment.
Ehren Kruger has just been brought in to pen the fourth movie, he has had a hand in penning both Revenge of the Fallen and Dark of the Moon.
And while the franchise is set to move forward Shia LaBeouf will definitely not be returning as Sam Witwicky.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon brought the franchise to a triumphant close twelve months ago as the movie went on to gross in excess of $1 billion at the global box office.
It was the first movie in the franchise to achieve that feat and was one of three movies that took over $1 billion last summer - the others being Harry Potter and the Deathly hallows - Part 2 and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
Transformers 4 is slated for June 29, 2014.
