Tom Hiddleston has hinted that his character Loki has plenty of fighting to do in The Avengers.
Yes Loki, who we saw for the first time this summer in Thor, is set to return as Captain America, The Hulk, Thor, Iron Man and Hawk Eye all come together for the Joss Whedon directed movie.
And the actor suggests that his character is set to take on each member of The Avengers.
Speaking to Total Film the actor said: "The fun thing about Loki is that he goes one-on-one with every single Avenger.
"Loki has become so menacing that they all have to team up and overcome their differences to stop him.
"I think I can dismiss the mere mortals, so Captain America may be a super soldier but he's still a man and he's up against Loki, who's a God. I think Iron Man's blasters hurt a bit.
"But I think it comes down to his thunderous brother. No-one is harder to fight than his brother because there's all that angst within him. Thor still comes out on top."
But before we see Hiddleston back in action as Loki he will be teaming up with Rachel Weisz for The Deep Blue Sea - which will be being screen at the London Film festival next week.
The Avengers is released 4th may 2012.
