Tom Hiddleston admits that he would love to turn his hand to directing.
The actor has enjoyed a hugely successful year in front of the camera with the likes of Avengers Assemble and War Horse under his belt but it seems he does have some interest behind the camera.
Speaking to the Press Association the actor said: "I've never actually made one myself, apart from messing about on my phone.
"I've written stuff that has gone on to be produced, which is definitely for the best for all of us," he said.
"I would love to do it at some point. The trouble is, I've just been so busy with acting that I haven't had the chance to take out the time to produce my own stuff."
However the move into directing may have to wait a while as Hiddleston is in great demand as an actor.
He has already completed work on Only Lovers Left Alive and London Project and he is currently filming Thor: The Dark World.
The movie will see him reprise the role of Loki in the second standalone Thor film.
