Tom Hiddleston has hinted that Loki could appear in more Marvel movies.
The actor is set to reprise the role, which he played for the first time last summer in Thor, for Avengers Assemble.
This time around Loki will be doing battle with Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Hawkeye and Thor.
But Hiddleston believes that Loki is a character that really has got legs and can be taken in different directions.
Speaking to Digital Spy at the Empire Awards the actor said: "We're responding to what people make of it, there's such a depth of layering in comics to his character.
"Loki goes on forever, it's a mythology, it goes deep. If we were allowed to make six films we could, we'll just have to see."
It's already been a hugely successful year for the actor as War Horse was a box office hit. Midnight In Paris also went on to be Oscar nominated.
But Avengers Assemble promises to be the biggest role of his career so far as he joins forces with Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth and Jeremy Renner.
Avengers Assemble is released 26th April.
