Tom Felton has called be nominated for Best Villain at the MTV Movie Awards 'a massive honour'.
The Harry Potter star has picked up the nod for his role as Draco Malfoy in the hit movie franchise.
In an interview with MTV he said: "It's a massive honour. Especially given that it's a fan vote. That makes it quite touching.
"And it's classic for me, because for almost a decade, kids have been running onto set and hugging Daniel [Radcliffe] and shaking Emma [Watson]'s hand.
"I try and be as polite as I can, and I never seem to get anywhere with them. Finally, I'm in a category that celebrates that fact!"
But the young actor faces tough competition as Christoph Waltz (Inglourious Basterds), Helen Bonham Carter (Alice In Wonderland), Ken Jeong (The Hangover) and Stephen Lang (Avatar) have also been nominated.
And Felton has had a busy year as he reprises the role of Malfoy for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, which has been split into two movies.
He will appear as himself in Get Him To The Greek but has In Between The Waves and The Apparition in the pipeline.
