Tom Felton has revealed that he was intimidated by co-star Alan Rickman.
Felton reprises the role of Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1, the first instalment of the final movie in the series.
And while the actor has worked with Rickman on and off for a decade the actor has admitted that his dry sense of humour meant he didn't know when he was joking.
Speaking on the Tonight Show With Jay Leno the actor said: "There was one scene where we were marching down a corridor with all of us (the kids) behind him.
"For those who don't know, [Rickman's character] Snape almost wears a wedding gown - black, not white - and it drapes about a meter or two behind him.
"He has a very dry sense of humour and turns around to us and says, 'Don't step on my effing cloak'. That's an actual quote and we never really knew if he was joking or not."
And the young actor has been flooded with work has he has already completed The Apparition and Rise of the Apes and is set to work on Grace and Danger.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 is out now.
