Tom Cruise and filmmaker J.J. Abrams are to team up for another Mission: Impossible.
Abrams, who directed Cruise in the third Mission: Impossible, has signed on for the fourth film in the franchise, which Cruise will star in and produce.
Mission Impossible III hit the big screen back in 2006 grossing $397 million at the global box office, the least successful movie of the franchise.
Tom Cruise hasn't graced the big screen since Valkyrie and his cameo in Tropic Thunder back in 2008. However he returns later this year with Knight and Day.
The action comedy movie reunites him with his Vanilla Sky co-star Cameron Diaz.
J.J. Abrams on the other hand has been a very busy boy after the success of Star Trek last summer, of which there is a sequel in the pipeline.
Paramount studio bosses already have a release date for the new Mission Impossible film - the film will go up against The Hangover sequel on Memorial Day weekend next year (11).
The Mission: Impossible franchise has grossed more than $1.4 billion (£875,000) globally.
