The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn has stormed to the top of the UK box office - toppling Paranormal Activity 3.
The movie marks the return to the director's chair for Oscar winner Steven Spielberg as he teamed up with Peter Jackson, who was on producing duties.
The movie toll £6.7 million in it's opening weekend to cruise to the top spot - almost £5 million ahead of it's nearest rival.
That nearest rival was Paranormal Activity 3 which fell just a single place to number two - taking a further £1.8 million this weekend.
Johnny English, Contagion and The Lion King 3D all dropped one place to round off the top five.
Ra One kicked off a sting of three new entries at six while The Help and The Ides of March were also new in at seven and eight.
The Ides of March sees George Clooney back in the director's chair which he also stars in the movie and penned the script.
Real Steel was this week's biggest faller as it dropped four places to number nine.
Dolphin Tale fell just one place to complete the top ten.
