The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
David Fincher's much-anticipated The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo remake has been given a huge boost by MTV bosses, who have voted the film their best release of the year (11).
The dark thriller beat out Drive and Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows Part 2 to land atop the US TV network's end-of-year movie poll.
The film is expected to get an Academy Awards nomination next month (Jan12).
Rounding out MTV's top five films are Bridesmaids and Hugo.
The movie sees Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig take over the roles of Lisbeth Salander and Mikael Blomkvist.
Mara has picked up a Best Actress Golden Globe nomination for her performance and the critics are already praising the movie.
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is released 26th December.
