Warner Bros have launched their Oscar campaign for The Dark Knight Rises.
The third Batman movie by Christopher Nolan was a triumph this summer and was one of the best films to hit the big screen this year.
It broke through the $1 billion barrier and was a fitting end to Nolan's tenure as Batman director.
Now Warner Bros have launched a new website for the movie on a bid to create an Oscar buzz around the movie.
The Dark Knight did well with Oscar nominations back in 2009 when it was nominated in eight categories - however it was scandalously overlooked for a Best Picture nomination.
From the eight nods the movie walked away with Best Supporting Actor for Heath Ledger's fantastic turn as the Joker.
This time around Warner Bros are looking for a similar success. But Warner Bros have a busy time ahead of them as the likes of Argo, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and Cloud Atlas are all Oscar contenders.
The Oscar nominations will be announced 10th January.
