The Amazing Spider Man has not hit the big screen yet but the Star Trek writers have been brought in to pen the sequel.
Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci have been hired to write the screen play for a second movie and there is already a shell of s story in place, penned by James Vanderbilt.
The Spider Man franchise is being given a re-boot this summer as Marc Webb takes over the director's chair and Andrew Garfield will take on the role of Peter Parker.
But it seems that Sony already has it's eye on the future and the growth of this franchise without knowing how successful this first movie is going to be.
But Kurtzman and Orci have penned some big movies in recent years from Star Trek to the first Transformers movie.
Garfield is joined by an all star line-up this summer as Emma Stone, Martin Sheen, Sally Field and Rhys Ifans are all set to appear in the movie.
The Amazing Spider Man is released 4th July.
