Terrence Howard
Terrence Howard is set to take off for the crowded celebrity skies after developing a passion for flying on the set of his new movie Red Tails.
The Hustle & Flow star portrays the Colonel of the Tuskegee airmen in the all-action war movie and he admits he now wants to join the likes of John Travolta and Tom Cruise and pilot his own plane.
He tells WENN, "I made a New Years resolution; I always wanted to be a pilot. So I'm going to take up flying this year. I'm going to go for my pilot's license this year."
And Howard is confident he has already passed his first test on previous movie sets - he knows how to keep his food down in mid-flight.
He explains, "When I was doing other films previously I'd gone up in T38s and F15s (planes) and you throw up like any sensible person does when you go up in these planes.
"The vomit hits you from the Snickers bar that you ate, so don't eat Snickers before you go up in those planes!
"After about five or six flights you get over the queasiness and you're in a position to enjoy it, but just holding your food down is a scary thing."
