Ted has stayed at the top of the UK box office for a second week.
The Seth McFarlane movies sees Mark Wahlberg team up with Mila Kunis and it continues to enjoy success as it too a further £3.1 million this weekend.
There was also no move at number two as The Dark Knight Rises stayed put - the two movies were comfortably ahead of any of the other releases.
The third batman movie took £2.1 million this week and is now the second biggest grossing movie of 2012.
Step Up 4: Miami Heat was the highest new entry on the chart this week as it opened at number three.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days was down a single place while Brave, which only opened in cinemas in England this week, was up one at five.
Ice Age 4: Continental Drift and The Lorax were both down two places at six and seven this week while The Amazing Spider Man fell just a single spot to eight.
Magic Mike was down one at nine and Brit flick Offender was the second and final new entry inside the top ten at number ten
