Taylor Lautner has revealed that he wasn't nervous before his kiss with his co-star Kristen Stewart in their new movie Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
It wasn't nerve-wracking
The young actor returns to the role of Jacob Black in the third film in the hugely successful franchise in which the character one again finds himself in a love triangle with Stewart's character Bella and Edward Cullen, played by Robert Pattinson.
He told MSN: "It wasn't nerve-wracking - people think it would be more awkward because Kristen and I are so close - I felt it was easier because we're such good friends.
"It was exciting that Jacob finally had his chance to kiss Bella for the first time," he said.
"He's had to sit back and watch her and Edward kiss for the whole first two movies. Finally he gets in there and has a little bit of action for a moment!"
Despite spending all the time in the gym to get into shape for the movie Lautner admits that his new level of fitness was only called into action once during the shoot.
"The only action I had in the entire movie was where I carry Bella through the forest. I was like, 'OK, I'll carry her, she's like 110 pounds, that can't be too hard'.
"Twelve hours later, after we'd finished every single angle possible of that scene, my arms were burning. Whoever said acting is not hard work..."
