Taylor Kitsch has revealed that he was delighted to reunite with director Peter Berg on new movie Battleship.
The pair first worked together on Friday Night Lights back in 2004 and their latest movie is based on the popular board game.
Speaking to Empire the actor said: "It’s really great to be working with Pete again, after we had such a good time on Friday Night Lights.
"We’re really close, and he’s an actor, so he’s an actor, so he’s an actor’s director. There’s no ego there, so when anyone wants to try something different he’s enthusiastic about that."
Battleship sees Kitsch team up with Liam Neeson, Rihanna and Brooklyn Decker in a movie that sees the U.S. Navy take on an alien life-force.
2012 is set to busy year for the actor as he is set to take on the title role in Disney’s new project John Carter.
He has also completed work on Savages, which sees him team up with Aaron Johnson and Blake Lively.
Battleship is released 11th April.
