Talulah Riley was baffled by the script for upcoming movie Inception - and admits even now filming has finished, she has no idea about the plot.
The sci-fi thriller stars Leonardo DiCaprio as a skilled thief, but his co-star Riley was confused by the storyline.
She tells America's Interview magazine, "I'm not entirely sure what it's about, no one really is."
Despite her lack of knowledge about the Christopher Nolan drama, the St. Trinian's star admits she did enjoy her time on-set: "I got to wear a nice dress. It was nice to do something adultish. Usually I play 15-year-old English schoolgirls."
Inception is the best kept secret of the summer movie season as Christopher Nolan returns to the director's chair for the first time since the success of the The Dark Knight in 2008.
The movie is riley's first venture into American film after finding success with Pride & Prejudice, St Trinian's and The Boat That Rocked.
She will be back on the screen next month as she stars alongside Emma Robters in Noel Clarke's new movie 4.3.2.1
