Robert Mark Kamen has revealed that a third Taken movie is a very strong possibility.
Kamen penned the script for both Taken movies and now it seems that the studio is keen to do a third as Taken 2 topped both the U.S. and UK box offices in it's opening week.
Speaking to Hollywood.com the writer said: "We didn't start talking about [Taken 3] until we saw the numbers.
"But then we said, 'Oh, OK. I think we should do a third one'. And Fox wants us to do a third one."
Taken 2 sees Liam Neeson reprise the role of Bryan Mills but whether the actor would return is unknown.
The film took $50 million in its opening weekend at the U.S. box office as well as storming to the UK #1 with a gross of over £7 million.
Taken 2 is out now.
