Jeremy Irvine has revealed that the War Horse story had a huge impact on him when he read the book as a child.
The Steven Spielberg directed movie marks the big screen debut for the actor as she takes on the central role of Albert.
Irvine was on the red carpet in London earlier this week for the Royal premiere of the movie.
He went on to call the story of friendship one that we could all relate too.
War Horse looks set to be the breakthrough role for Irvine and he is set to tackle the role of Pip in a new adaptation of Great Expectations - which will hit the big screen later this year.
War Horse is released 13th January
