The remake of Cleopatra is going to be 'a total party' according to the movie's director Steven Soderbergh.
The filmmaker will reunite with actress Catherine Zeta Jones, the pair worked together on Ocean's twelve, in a 3D musical remake of Cleopatra.
In an interview with the Orlando Sentinal Soderbergh said: "Cleopatra's world would be a natural for this. You combine a 3D journey into her world with Robert Pollard's Guided by Voices music and dancing, it should be great fun."
He continued: "I'm going to do it in 3D, because I think that's a viable format. You're going to see more people working in it.
"I want to see the first person take a shot at doing a straight drama in 3D.
"Maybe the way to do it would be to make a period drama in 3D where it really contributes to your sense of being in that world."
