The engagement ring Edward Cullen presents to Bella Swan in the upcoming Twilight sequel, Eclipse, has been mass produced for real-life lovers.
Author Stephenie Meyer’s description of the commitment ring has been turned into a real gem for the second sequel to the vampire romance franchise - and now fans of the films can buy the jewellery item.
Meyer co-designed the ring with jewellers at the Infinite Jewelry Co. and the item will be available in 14 karat white or yellow gold for $2,000 (GBP1,250). There will also be a fashion version for $35.
Eclipse is the third movie in the Twilight Saga series and will be released later this summer, just eight months after the success of New Moon.
New Moon was one of the biggest grossing movies of 2009 as it went on to make over $709 million at the global box office.
Eclipse will see Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart return as lovers Edward Cullen and Bella Swan, with Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Kellan Lutz, Jackson Rathbone and Nikki Reed also all returning.
As a string of mysterious killings grips Seattle, Bella, whose high school graduation is fast approaching, is forced to choose between her love for vampire Edward and her friendship with werewolf Jacob.
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is released 9th July.
