Stan Lee has revealed that he will not be cameoing in X-Men: First Class this summer.
The comic book writer has made regular appearances in the Marvel projects that have been adapted for the big screen.
But he admits that the filming of X-Men: First Class was too far away for him to make it to the set.
Posting on his Twitter he said: "Warriors mine, grieve thee not that I have no cameo in X-Men: First Class," he wrote. "'Tis just that the movie was filmed too far away for me to attend."
But Lee has already appeared in Thor so far this year, a movie which currently tops the U.S. and UK box office.
He has already filmed his part in Captain America: The Last Avenger and is set to appear in the latest Spider Man movie.
"Next up - The Avengers. Unless they shoot it on the Moon nothing shall keep thy leader from making his awesome presence known! Excelsior!"
X-Men: First Class is released 1st June.
