Speedy Singhs, has topped the Canadian Film Box Office as it takes first place position in the Top 10 charts when it opened in cinemas across Canada on Friday 30th September 2011 with a staggering $546,000, becoming the first cross-cultural film of its kind to achieve this feat!
What’s more, Speedy Singhs has become the biggest grosser at the weekend box office in Canada beating records set by other Bollywood films such as Singh is King ($354,000), My Name Is Khan ($346,000), 3 Idiots ($267,000), Bodyguard ($234,000) and Dabang ($143,000).
Speedy Singhs united drama, action, sport and comedy on the big screen, injecting a hearty measure of Bollywood magic into Canada’s favourite sport - hockey.

Smoothly staged by director Robert Lieberman, the film stars debutant Indo-Canadian actor Vinay Virmani; Hollywood heartthrob, Rob Lowe; global comedy sensation Russell Peters; actress Camilla Belle (‘The Lost World: Jurassic Park’); Bollywood veteran Anupam Kher; recording artist Aubrey 'Drake' Graham; and Grammy Award winning rapper Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges who Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar (the co-producer of the film) has collaborated with musically for the song Shera Di Kaum.
