The young cast members of Slumdog Millionaire have been given a heroes welcome on their return to Mumbai.
Large crowds gathered to see the film's child stars after they returned home after their success at Sunday night's Oscars ceremony.
The film dominated the awards scooping eight goings from it's ten nominations, including Best Picture and Best Director for Danny Boyle.
Officials in India are celebrating the runaway Oscars success of Slumdog Millionaire - the hit movie has been granted tax exemption after boosting tourism in the country.
Celebrations took place in Chennai outside the home of composer A.R. Rahman who picked up awards for Best Score and Best Song.
Anand Sharma, the country's minister of state for information and broadcasting and external affairs called it "the finest hour of Indian cinema in the global scenario".
Rubina Ali and Azharuddin Ismali, who play younger versions of the film's main character, are to also be moved into more secure and free homes.
