Simon Beaufoy is rumoured to be writing a second Wolverine screenplay.
X-Men:Wolverine may not even been released in cinemas yet but Fox are expecting the movie to be a big hit and are already looking at expanding the franchise.
However no project has been given the green light until they see the box office return later this year.
However if whispers are to be believed that a writer, in the former of Slumdog Millionaire's Oscar winner Beaufoy, has already been hired to pen the script.
The screen writer reportedly told a Bradford International Film Festival audience that he didn't even know what a wolverine was but was persuaded to take the project by his agent.
This may sees the first X-Men spin off hit our screens as the film looks into Logan's, once again played by Hugh Jackman, past.
