Sigourney Weaver

Sigourney Weaver has revealed that she will be back in the second Avatar movie.

The actress took on the role of Dr Grace Augustine in the critically acclaimed movie - a character that died in the film.

However the character is set to return in the highly anticipated second film. And Weaver had nothing but praise for the story that lies ahead.

Speaking to ComingSoon the actress said: "Don't worry, I will be back. Jim [Cameron] says no one ever dies in science fiction.

"He's told me the stories for the next two movies and I have to say that they're absolutely wonderful and there's a real treat in store. Now we just have to make them."

Weaver returns to the big screen next week with her latest movie Abduction, which sees her team up with Taylor Lautner and Lily Collins.

She has already completed work on The Cold Light of Day and Red Lights and has been linked to Ghostbuster III - should the project go ahead.
