Sigourney Weaver has revealed that she cried after watching her latest movie Avatar.
The actress stars as grace Augustine in James Cameron’s latest movie that looks set to be one of the biggest hits of the year.
She is part of an all star cast that includes Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Michelle Rodriguez and Giovanni Ribisi.
In an interview with The Guardian the actress said: "It will pick you up and shake you like a little rag doll. I'm not too much of an emotional creature, but I was weeping by the end.
"I remember reading the script and thinking, 'I love this but how can he ever do this?'. Nothing like this has been done before - floating mountains!"
"It is as big as sound. I hope it won't impact every movie, but for the big movies it raises the bar - it throws the bar away."
Avatar is another 3D movie to hit the screen this year and is released 17th December.
