Sigourney Weaver has revealed that she would consider returning to the Ghostbusters franchise, but only if there is a part for her on-screen son Oscar.
Weaver was last seen as Dana Barrett back in 1989 - when she battled to save her young son from the clutches of the evil Vigo.
There has been much talk about a third movie for the past year or so - which aims to reunite the old cast. And Weaver would be interested if the character of Oscar was also in the script.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly the actress said: The one thing I said is that I'll do it if Oscar, my little son, can be a Ghostbuster, and I think (director) Ivan Reitman liked that idea.
"I saw Bill Murray at the Scream Awards, and he said we're gonna do it, but I'm not sure. I think no-one's really read a script.
"But I've talked to Ivan Reitman. He definitely wants to do it. There was a script that was being rewritten as of about a year ago."
It's been a busy 2010 for Weaver as she starred in You Again earlier this year and has already completed work on Cedar Rapids, Paul and The Cold Light of Day.
She has Abduction and Rampart in the pipeline.
