Shia LaBeouf has admitted that Wall Street 2 will be different from the original.
In the movie Michael Douglas returns as Gordon Gekko and LaBeouf takes on the role of Jacob, an ambitious young Wall Street trader who is engaged to Gekko's daughter.
In an interview with Extra he said: "We’re deep in prep now. We start in August... It’s definitely going to be different.
"Just the financial landscape is very different. We’re talking about the crime of the century...It’s a crime. Blatant crime... In this financial climate, it’s very relevant."
Also joining the pair on the cast list is Oscar winner Javier Bardem, the movie's villain, and Carey Mulligan as Gekko's daughter Winnie.
It's a change of pace for the popular young actor as Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen hit cinema screens this week in the UK, expecting to top the box office when the figures are released later this week.
The actor will appear in ensemble piece New York, I Love You later this year. He is also set to star in the adaptation of John Grisham's novel The Associate and he is penciled in for a Transformers 3 movie.
