Shia LaBeouf has praised Oliver Stone for listening to the actors that he works with.
LaBeouf teams up with the Oscar winning filmmaker for Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, a movie that comes thirteen years after the original.
And the actor had nothing but praise for his director and enjoyed collaborating with the filmmaker and was grateful that he listened to what he had to say.
Speaking to Metro the actor said: "He's one of the best directors I've ever worked with. He understands emotion, he's vulnerable, he listens, he doesn't just tell you what to do.
"He will ask, 'Which chair do you want, Shia?'. He does that type of thing, as opposed to, 'You're sitting there', which allows for more freedom for the actor."
And while Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps is a sequel LaBeouf insists that his character is very different from Charlie Sheen's.
"They are very different human beings. Charlie Sheen came up in the 'boom boom' years.
"This isn't a character who is indulging in the way that Charlie's character did. That was sort of the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll time in finance, whereas this is a very different time."
The actor is currently filming the third Transformers movie.
Wall Street Money Never Sleeps is out now.
