Shawn Levy believes that he 'objectified' and 'exploited' actor Mark Wahlberg in his new movie Date Night.
Levy is back behind the camera for his latest movie which sees Wahlberg star alongside Tina Fey and Steve Carell.
Wahlberg spends the entire movie without his shirt and Levy is just relieved that he has established himself as an actor.
Speaking to Digital Spy the filmmaker said: "I think thank goodness there's been an interceding decade where he's not taking his shirt off and he's established his legitimacy as an actor.
"When I went to him I made it clear that I was going to exploit him, I was going to objectify him, and he wasn't going to wear his shirt the entire movie. He goes, 'Alright buddy, I got it'."
"I don't know whether he was in that shape or whether he did some extra push-ups but the results are there on screen and ridiculously good-looking."
Date Night is out now.
