Seth Green joked that he had a serious chat with his gorilla co-star on the set of Old Dogs before they shot one of the more tender scenes together.
The Austin Powers star cuddles up with the gorilla at one point in the movie and he reveals it was beneficiary to talk through the scene with his primate co-star.
Speaking to MSN the actor said: "We talked at length, she and I, on how we wanted this scene to go, and what our real-life boyfriend or girlfriend would feel about the scene and how to keep it appropriate," Seth deadpanned.
"I think we gave the people what they wanted."
The actor went on to admit that it was an honour to work beside screen greats Robin Williams and John Travolta.
"These two guys are heroes of mine for my entire career and great examples of how to maintain longevity through great adversity.
"Both of them have had extreme rises and falls in their relevance or success, and always find their way back on top. It's very impressive to a young actor who hopes to be a life-long actor."
