Saoirse Ronan would never move to Hollywood.
The actress is back on the big screen this week in the film adaptation of Alice Sebold's popular novel The Lovely Bones.
But the fifteen year old actress, who shot to fame with her Oscar nominated turn in Atonement, believes that Hollywood has a negative effect on young people.
Speaking to Contactmusic she said: "I would never want to move to Los Angeles. I've seen kids get messed up there. They just stop being genuine people.
"I will always have a child in me. That is what Pete Jackson has got, what a lot of the directors I have worked with have.
"It is about knowing how to have fun - and that is something I always want to hold on to."
She takes on the role of Susie Salmon in the Peter Jackson directed film who, after she is murdered, watches over her family.
The Lovely Bones is released 19th February.
