Saoirse Ronan has hinted that her role in The Host is a very physical one.
The actress takes on the role of Melanie Stryder in the big screen adaptation of the Stephenie Meyer novel, which comes hot off the heels of the success of the Twilight movies.
And Ronan says that throughout filming she found herself in a harness as she did some of the stunts.
Speaking to MTV News the actress said: "It actually is very physical. I didn't expect it to be so physical. I've been on a harness quite a bit."
"It was 30 feet in the air, so that was pretty cool."
The Host will be directed by Andrew Niccol, who brought us In Time last year, and will also star Diane Kruger, William Hurt and Max Irons.
The Host is just one of the projects that Ronan has competed as she has also finished work on Byzantium and Justin and the Knights of Valour.
The Host is released 29th March 2013
